Uganda Airlines has issued an official statement refuting recent social media claims suggesting that its rights to operate flights to the United Kingdom have been revoked. The airline clarified that these reports are untrue and reassured the public that its Foreign Carriers Permit remains valid.

According to the statement dated March 23, 2025, Uganda Airlines confirmed that preparations for its highly anticipated London Gatwick route are progressing as planned. The inaugural flight is scheduled for May 18, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s international expansion.
The airline emphasized its commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless travel experience for its passengers.
