Kampala, Uganda: All candidates who sat for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams are warming up to receive their results tomorrow Thursday January 31st, 2019.

The
2018 UCE results are expected to be released by the First Lady and Minister for
Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni at the Statistics House (UBOS)
at 11am.
Uganda
National Examinations Board (UNEB) confirmed the release of the examination
results in an Internal Memo issued by the ministry of Education and Sports
dated January 29th, 2019. The national exams started on October 15 and ended on
November 16. A total of 336,740 candidates who registered with UNEB from 3,658
Centre’s sat for the exams. Out of these, 169,984 are boys and 166,756 are
girls.

This comes after the Uganda National Examinations
Board (UNEB) announcing that the results
will be released on Thursday. This was confirmed by an Internal Memo issued by
the ministry of Education and Sports dated January 29th, 2019. The
national exams started on October 15 and ended on November 16. A total of

are girls. The first lady Janet Kataha Museveni, who is also the minister for
education and sports, is expected to preside over the function of releasing the
UCE results.
