Ugandans are back in a panicky mode following the spike in Covid-19 cases that have seen the nation registering couple of deaths in past days.
This follows last evening’s announcement by the former Minister of Local Government, Rafael Magyezi revealing that he has contracted the virus after results conforming that he is positive.
Magyezi said that as a result, he has opted self isolation as advised by the Ministry to whoever tests positive for the deadly disease.
Magyezi says,”Be aware that covid-19 is once again on the rise. I have today gone into self- isolation after testing positive for covid. I am sure I will be ok, since I completed my vaccination.
So pliz observe the SOPs, keep the mask on while in public, avoid crowds, sanitise/wash hands with soap and water and maintain social distance. Stay safe.”
