Kampala: Uganda COVID-19 cases has increased to 902 as a result of samples tested on 01 July 2020 that comfirmed 9 new cases.

The new cases include 2 truck drivers who arrived from Kenya via Malaba.
Others are seven (7) contacts that include 2 from Amuru and 5 from Tororo.

Meanwhile 27 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 were not allowed into the country.

Uganda so far has 188 active cases on admission and among these,163 are Ugandans, 19 are foreigners and 6 are refugees.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in March 2020, Uganda has not registered any COVID-19 related death while has 847 total number of recoveries that Includes both Ugandans and Foreigners.
