Uganda Cranes Players On Cloud9 As FUFA Pays Millions To Each, Clears All Bonuses & Allowances

Kampala: As we report this, its pomp and glamour in the national team, Uganda Cranes’ camp after Federation of Uganda Football Association President Eng.Moses Magogo ordered for the clearance of every players’ salary, bonuses and allowances amounting to millions of Ugandan shillings.

The news has been confirmed by FUFA communications boss Mr. Ahmed Hussein who whispered to our reporter that the federation has effected the payment of the outstanding bonuses owed to every player mostly those that previously played in the CHAN competitions.

TheSpy Uganda has learnt that a sum of UGX 5.5 million ( USD 1500) was transferred to individual accounts of all players who took part in the January – February 2021 tournament held in Cameroon.

This has been confirmed by one Cranes player who preferred anonymity who said that the bonuses owed to him by FUFA for playing at CHAN has been paid.

Accounting for the money, it covered daily bonuses for the time the players spent in camp both before and during the tournament.

The CHAN team started their preparations for the tournament which is exclusive to local-based players on December 21, 2020, spending 39 days in camp until January 29, 2021, when the camp broke off following their elimination from the tournament.
