Uganda Cranes have qualified for the Total CHAN 2020 tournament after winning Burundi 3-0 in a match that was played at Startimes stadium in Lugogo today.
The Cranes’ victory was secured by goals from Fahad Bayo, Viane Sekajugo and Allan Okello, who helped Uganda past a hapless Burundi to qualify for the 2020 CHAN tournament for a third successive time.
Uganda Cranes now qualifies for the fifth Total Championship of African Nations (CHAN) final tournament with six goals after a convincing result against Burundi, yet they were leading with a comfortable 3-0 result from the first leg, which was played in Bujumbura three weeks ago.
The Cranes now await for the real battle during the final tournament which will be hosted by Cameroon in 2020.
