Proline brilliantly overcame MYDA 4-1 in the first leg of the Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.

Hakim Kiwanuka slotted home the opener in the 4th minute of the first half.
MYDA tried to find its way back into the game but Proline was solid in the defence with goalkeeper Nicholas.
In the added minutes of the first half, Brian Umony converted a penalty to make it 2-0 following a handball in the area by defender Stephen Okello.

A minute later, Hamisi Kiiza stretched the host’s lead to 3-0—-thanks to Kiwanuka’s phenomenal assist.
Proline made a double substitution bringing on Ivan Ocholit and Alpha Ssali Thiery to replace Rogers Mato and Umony.
Alpha scored Proline’s 4th in the 88th minute to seal the victory as they go for the return leg later this week.
MYDA’s substitute Ahmed Saleh scored the consolation for the visitors in the 89th minute to make it 4-1.

Elsewhere, Mbarara City FC shared a goalless stalemate with URA at Kakyeka Stadium.
Kyetume drew with Express FC 2-2 at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Kataka FC overcame Edward Golola’s Tororo United at 1-0.
Gaddafi FC beat Mbale Heroes 1-0 at Kyabazinga Stadium.
