Kampala: It was yet again another weekend full of action for a number of Ugandan players in the diaspora at their respective clubs.

In the Egyptian Premier League, forward Emmanuel Arnold Okwi started before he was replaced in the 79th minute by Ashour.

Okwi’s Al Ittihad side overcame El Entag El Harby 2-0.

Abdu Lumala did not make the matchday squad as his Pyramids FC side beat Aswan SC 2-0 on the road.

During the Swedish Svenska Cupen, defender Ronald Mukiibi played full time as Ostersunds FK side edged Mjallby 1-0 on the road.

Forward Alexis Bbakka was not in the matchday squad as his Umea FC side lost 1-0 at Brage.

Gangly striker Uche Ikpeauzi Mubiru played 80 minutes before he went off for Akinfenwa.

Left-back Jordan Obita was not in the matchday squad as their Wycombe Wanderers side lost 2-0 at Stoke City in the English Championship.

During the English Premier League U23 League, Jayden Onen was not in the matchday squad as his Reading U23 side lost 3-1 at home against Norwich U23.

Allan Okello featured as his Paradou AC side beat USM Alger 2-0 in the Algeria Premier League.

In the Czech Republic Premier League, new boy Edrisa Lubega was not in the matchday squad his Pribram side lost 2-0 at home against Liberec.

While in the Czech Republic second division, left-back Isaac Muleme was introduced in the 73rd minute for Husek as his Zizkov side lost at home 3-1 to Chrudim.

In the Danish Premier League, Moses Opondo played 67 minutes before he was subbed for Okosum as his Odense FC side fell 2-0 on the road against Vejle.

In Ethiopia, defender Isaac Isinde played full time for Hadiya Hossana during their 1-0 loss at Bahir Dah Kenema in Ethiopia.

William Luwagga Kizito started and was replaced in the 78th minute for Soukouna as his Hapoel Kfar Saba drew goalless at home against Hapoel Haifa during the Israel Ligat HA’al.

In the Primus Burundi Premier League, defender Joseph Othieno was outstanding as his Musongati FC crushed Bumamuru 6-1 on the road.

Still in Burundi, midfielder Allan Brian Kizza played full time while defending Steven Mugisha was an unused substitute as their Le Messanger Ngozi side beat Les Elephants 4-0 on the road.

In the Morocco Botola Pro League, striker Patrick Henry Kaddu came on for Hasty in the 75th minute as his Youssoufia Berrechid side drew 1-1 at Raja Casablanca.

In the Scottish Premier League, Bevis Mugabi wasn’t in the matchday squad due to injury as his Motherwell FC side beat Livingstone 3-1 at home.

In the South African Premier League, Moses Waiswa was an unused substitute as his Supersport United side drew goalless at home to TS Galaxy.

Custodian Ismael Watenga was not in the matchday squad as his Chippa United side lost 3-0 at home to Orlando Pirates.

In the CAF Champions League, Denis Masinde Onyango played full time in goal as his Mamelodi Sundowns side ended TP Mazembe’s 12 years’ home Unbeaten run defeating them 2-1.

In the Tanzanian Vodacom Premier League, custodian Mathias Kigonya kept a clean sheet while right back Nicholas Wadada was out with a harm-string injury as their Azam FC side drew goalless at Mwadui.
