Kampala: Uganda’s cumulative confirmed cases have reached 1,043, after the Ministry of Health confirmed 3 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested yesterday 14th, July 2020.

Of the three (3) confirmed cases; two (2) are truck drivers while one (1) is an alert from Kampala.

Uganda so far has 198 total active cases on admission that includes 22 who are foreigners, 4 refugees and 72 Ugandans with 1004 total number of recoveries that include both Ugandans and non-Ugandans.

Meanwhile nineteen (19) foreign truck drivers (15 Kenyans, 2 Congolese and 2 Tanzanians) tested positive for COVID-19 at the border points of entry and their entry into the country was not permitted.
Total number of COVID-19 samples tested were 232,608 and to-date Uganda has not registered any COVID-19 related death.
