Aucho had been named among the 20 man squad listed by interim Uganda Cranes coaches Mubiru and Livingston Mbabazi as the team prepares for two crucial AFCON qualifiers against the group leaders Burkina Faso in Kampala on Wednesday next week and Malawi on away.
According to FUFA the football governing body, Aucho refused to board the official means of transport organized to pick him from Entebbe International Airport to the team camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel-Kisasi and had not even reported to camp since his arrival in the country.
The player’s club Misr El Makkasa and Egypt Football Association A have duly been informed about the decision and a return air ticket has been issued to him for his travel back to Egypt.

This comes as the cranes start serious training sessions in the morning of Saturday at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo where the coach will have a media briefing after the session.
This is not the first time for a player to be dismissed from the cranes camp. In 2011 David Obua was dismissed from the cranes camp by the then coach Bobi Williamson following walking out on his team-mates after the President of the country paid a courtesy visit to the national team camp and offered 50 million shillings to them.

The dismissal was explained as an indiscipline case and it was to act as an example to other team members and Obua never again returned to the team.
However, whether Aucho’s dismissal from the camp may mean the end of his national football carrier but of course let us wait for the FUFA officials to come out to clear the air on the matter.
