With the game seemingly dormant, the Joggos head Coach Kaziba made a double substitution in the 60th minute bringing on Kabonge and Ogwang to replace Kiwanuka and Olaki which worked for him.
Both sides had failed to put the ball in the back of the net although there were clear chances created by both sides in the 90 minutes of play. The two sides were not clinical enough to score until Kabonge put on his scoring boots to give the Joggos a win in the 93rd minute.

However, in the early minutes of the match, both sides proved very physical with the referee registering five yellow cards for both sides.
Onduparaka missed golden chances which would see them hitting hard opponents one of them being 63rd minute Hamza’s free header that was magically saved by the Joggos goalkeeper Kibirige to deny the caterpillars a chance.

Villa came into this game looking for redemption from the nightmares faced against Police and Vipers in their last encounters and yet Onduparaka came with the motivation of a 1-0 home win against Mbarara City in their previous game.
The victory against the Ankole Lions had placed the caterpillars in 7th position with 21 points from 13 games and 2 points above SC Villa on the league log hence Sunday’s Villa Win meant they went a point ahead of the Arua based side.
