Ojara was part of the St Mary’s SS Kitende team that lifted the 2019 Copa Coca-Cola Schools championship in Jinja after overcoming the home team Jinja SS 3-1 in the violence-marred finale at Kakindu Stadium, Jinja.
The same team also won the 2019 East Africa Secondary Schools football title in Dodoma, Tanzania

After being relegated from the Uganda Premier League last season, Tooro United is back to the famous drawing board to plot for promotion back to the table of men in Uganda’s football.
For our first readers, Tooro United F.C. is a Ugandan football club from Fort Portal that was founded in 2007 as Soana F.C. and played at the Kavumba ground in Wakiso and currently playing in the top division of Ugandan football, the Ugandan Super League.

Soana was promoted to the Ugandan Super League for the first time in 2013, where they quickly made a name for themselves by winning their first four games of the season and ultimately finished fifth.

In 2018, the club’s chairman, who was from the Tooro region of Uganda, decided to move the team to Fort Portal and currently the team plays at the 1000 capacity Buhinga playground in Fort Portal.
