Kampala, Uganda: The Saturday match that opened the CAF Confederation playoff between Vipers and CS Sfaxien of Tunisia left the Ugandan side with a huge mountain to climb when they fly out to Tunis for the return leg soon.
Vipers that were held to a goalless draw during the Saturday match played at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende will have themselves to blame for missing the opportunity to secure a point from home. The return leg is slated for Sunday January 20, 2019 in Sfax, Tunis. Mike Ouma’s boys have only that chance left to secure themselves a slot in the next round.
The current Uganda league champs will be battling Africa’s leading giants in a match expected to be explosive.
