Vipers and KCCA FC face off in a top of the table fight at St.Mary’s stadium, Kitende today Saturday with each seeking to take early advantage in the race.
The two come into the game on the back of disappointing stalemates with Vipers held away at Kirinya in a four goal thriller while KCCA were frustrated in a barren draw at home.
Mike Mutebi expects a very good game but admits Vipers are favourites since they are playing at home.
“It will be a very good game between arguably the two best teams in the league at the moment,” he said. “We are not going there to fight for a point but for three,” he added.
“Vipers have the advantage since they play at home.
Table leading Vipers will miss the services of skipper Taddeo Lwanga and defender Bashir Asiku who are suspended while Livingstone Mulondo is doubtful for the clash due to injury.
Muzamiru Mutyaba remains out for KCCA as well as long term injury Gift Ali but Hassan Musana and Bernard Muwanga return to the team.
The last meeting at Kitende ended 3-2 in favour of the hosts but KCCA have edged the previous two encounters in the Fufa Super Cup and Stanbic Uganda Cup.
