Fred Kisitu Kajoba, who has been training Uganda Cranes Goalkeepers, has been hired by Lawrence Mulindwa’s Vipers SC and he was unveiled alongside his goalkeeping coach Ibrahim Mugisha, on Sunday.

During his unveiling, Kajubi vowed to assemble a good team and work for the decent performances and results as demanded by management and the fans.

He was unveiled by Vipers on Sunday morning during a press conference at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende replacing Edward Golola who was sacked last week following the Venoms’ humiliating exit from the Uganda Cup at the hands of Kajjansi United.

It is believed that Kajoba has signed a short term deal that will expire at the end of this season.

Kajoba who has been out of a coaching role since he was fired at Bright Stars FC, will take charge with immediate effect and will be joined by Ibrahim Mugisha as goalkeeping coach, working alongside Edward Ssali as the trainer.

Vipers visit Mbarara City on Tuesday, 28th January 2020 at the Bombo Military Stadium on match day 19.

“I am assuring you 100 percent that we shall perform. We need to win the Uganda Premier League. I am serious coach. I came here to work for the betterment of this club” Kajoba said

“I am excited to be joining one of the biggest clubs in the country and it is where it should be at the moment, he said.

“I am sure we can still go on and win this season’s title.”

“I am looking forward to working with the players and staff at this great club. “The Venoms are top of the table standings with 42 points, four better than second placed KCCA
