Uganda Cranes skipper and Mamelodi Sundowns shot stopper Denis Onyango is always picking out the positives in the Uganda Cranes and this time he is no different even when the team is not scoring.
Onyango says the progress of the team is for the better even after the team played two friendlies and both of them were goalless.
“I think it’s better we play safe than exposing our entire backline, I am positive the team will get the goals,” Onyango said in a one on one interview .
Onyango has spent the better part of the season nursing a knee injury but he has been passed fit having sat out the last two friendlies the team played.
The Uganda Cranes have been camping in Senegal for the better part of the week and it’s from there that they will fly to Cape Verde for their first 2019 Afcon qualifier in Group L where they are placed along with Tanzania and Lesotho.
